Recently I Have Been...

1 September 2017

I'm back again after a week's break! I was away for a couple of days in Cornwall and decided that it was also a great chance to have a little break away from blogging and editing. I had been struggling with stress for the past month so I definitely needed the time to refresh. But now that I'm back I'm looking forward to getting back into a routine and focus on creative work! First I thought I'd share what I've been up to over the past couple of weeks or so!

Noticing: Golden leaves starting to appear, a chill in the air, and conkers beginning to grow on the chestnut trees. Autumn is that you?

Reading: Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I finished reading the book last week and I must say that it's one of the most relatable books I've read so far!

Buying: A bunch of half price sunflowers. Sadly our sunflowers in the garden didn't bloom this Summer so I decided to buy a big bunch of them in the supermarket the other day.

Dreaming: Of having a window seat with a countryside view. I keep seeing photographs of window seats with the most wonderful views over on Pinterest. I can just imagine how relaxing and peaceful it would be to sit at the window with a good book and a cup of tea.

Loving: Herbal Essences Bio Renew collection. My hair feels so soft after using these shampoo and conditioners!

Exploring: North Cornwall and stayed in the magical and mythical place of Tintagel. I took lots of photos whilst on my short break with the family. So I can't wait to gather all of my photos and share some of the adventures I went on!

Completing: One of my drawings which I had left incomplete for nearly two years! So I'm determined to complete it by the end of the year and hope to get myself back into drawing again.

Listening to: Birdy. I've been playing her albums in the background whilst I'm editing and I think she has such a lovely wonderful voice.

Eating: Butterscotch and pecan ice cream in a waffle cone. Yum!

Deciding: Whether or not to go a shade darker blonde for Autumn. I had a balayage back in January and even though it's starting to grow out, the blonde is still pretty bright. I've decided to grow my hair too so I think I might have an Autumnal refresh.

Pinning: Autumnal photos on Pinterest. I am so excited for Autumn so I have been creating an Autumn inspiration board filled with pumpkins, cosy knits, crunchy orange leaves and plenty of hot drinks!

What have you been up to recently?
