Snapshots In Padstow

13 September 2017

I'm a little behind schedule on posting but I'm rather excited to start planning some Autumn posts for October, which I can't believe how quickly September is flying by! It's been nearly a month since my holiday in Cornwall, but I thought I would share some of my favourite snapshots in Padstow!

The few days we spent in Cornwall, we had decided for a day out in Padstow. I remember visiting Padstow when I was younger and when you go back to visit somewhere you haven't been in ages, all the memories of the place start flooding back. I remember the salty smell in the air, the row of boats bobbing up and down on the water at the port, the many ice cream shops with an array of amazing flavours and a number of beautiful little boutiques and sweet shops.

When we arrived we, we took the time to have a slow stroll around the town, taking in the wonderful smells from the bakeries and fudge shops and enjoying the beautiful scenery that surrounds the town of Padstow.

I am always on the look out for bookshops. I love visiting my local Waterstones but there's just something extra special about the little independent bookshops you'll find in a seaside town. I was so happy when I came across this gorgeous little bookshop half hidden amongst some ivy. We then took a walk further up towards the other shops and came across a fudge shop where we watched a lady making cutting a large slab of fudge on the counter, the smell was amazing.

After we had sat down for some lunch by the port, we took off for a long walk down towards the nearest beach. It was a bit of a climb, with steep paths to walk up but as you got higher up the hill the views became even more of a wonderful sight. I even spotted more of the colourful wildflowers dancing in the breeze overlooking the sea.

Have you ever been to Padstow?
