A Few of My Favourite Ways To Wind down After a Long Day

Whether it's after work or a day out somewhere, I just love to spend some time winding down at home after a busy day. I love having that wind down time in the evenings whether I've spent the day out or not, but after I've been out for most of the day I love nothing more than to just relax and slow down when I get back home. So without further ado I thought I'd share some of the ways in which I love to wind down after a long day!

:: Get changed into loungewear or something more relaxing. I love getting dressed into loungewear or pyjamas and feeling so much more comfortable and relaxed!

:: Pop the kettle on for a cup of tea. There's nothing like coming home after a long day and enjoying a big cup of tea!

:: Catch up on social media. It's nice to see what everyone has been up to and have a little catch up.

:: Sit outside in the garden if the weather is good. Something I've been doing lately since the weather has been lovely and sunny. 

:: Read! A book, blog post or even a magazine.

:: Watch my favourite tv show or YouTube. I love turning on the fairy lights in my room which creates a more relaxed mood and cosying up to a tv series or catch up on some of my favourite vlogs!

:: Remove my make-up and continue with skincare routine. I always make sure to remove my make-up in the evenings, especially as I'm prone to oily skin and so I feel so much more refreshed when I remove my make-up and use my skincare products.

:: Write. Spend some time writing in my journal and jot down anything that's been on my mind lately.

:: Listen to a podcast.
