Summer Playlist

20 June 2018

I loved sharing my autumn playlist last year with a selection of my favourite songs that I had been listening to throughout the season. I said that I would share my playlists for each of the seasons but completely missed out winter and spring, so I thought I'd make up for it and share what songs I've been adding to my summer playlist for this year!

Summer is my favourite time for getting outdoors, enjoying the sunshine and seeing all the beautiful flowers in bloom. I love going out on walks all year round, but especially in the summer, and usually if I'm out on my own I like to take my earphones with me and listen to music whilst I'm walking around the village.

My summer playlist includes my usual indie/indie folk favourites Of Monsters and Men, Passenger, Gabrielle Aplin. But I also have a few up-beat songs by artists such as George Ezra, The Wombats and Foster The People. I'm sure I'll be adding many more songs to my playlist over the next couple of summer months!

Currently on the playlist:

Saturday Sun - Vance Joy
From Finner - Of Monsters and Men
Say Something - Justin Timberlake ft. Chris Stapleton
Like Gold - Vance Joy
Pretty Shining People - George Ezra
Cheetah Tongue - The Wombats
Paradise - George Ezra
Sit Next to Me - Foster The People
Fast Car (cover) - Passenger
Shiver - Lucy Rose
Mountain To Move - Nick Mulvey
The Cave - Mumford & Sons
Home - Gabrielle Aplin
